The officials are very excited to offer one of the Grammy award winning artists such as Rod Stewart as the very first entertainer to grace us with their presence and perform at the brand new 1,500 seat multi use facility within the casino’s walls. “Rod Stewart is a music icon and we are thrilled to welcome him as our inaugural act at the Silver Creek Event Center,” said Matt Harkness who is the general manager of the Four Winds Casino. “The opening of the event center adds a new amenity that our guests can enjoy while visiting Four Winds New Buffalo.” The Chairman, Matt Wesaw of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians also stated: “It’s a proud day for all Pokagon Citizens as Rod Stewart is just the first of many world-class entertainers that will perform at the Silver Creek Event Center.”
The Silver Creek Event Center is located within walking distance, right next door to the casino playing floor. On top of being able to host concerts, this 70,000 square foot event center space can be used and reconfigured to be the host of many different things such as special events, meetings, conferences and so much more. There are more concerts that are expected to be announced very soon. The casino is also opening around 250 more hotel rooms within their casino later on in June, and also adding a 12,000 square foot Hard Rock Café later in the summer. This is a lot of commotion for the casino, but they are excited and cannot contain their happiness about the expansions and the concerts that they are going to hold over the summer of this year.
