It seems that Port Chester in New York has received more good luck than any other place on Earth! Marilyn Garcia-John, a 50-year-old mother of three, is the latest resident of Port Chester to win a $1,000,000 lottery prize after two others won such a prize this year.

Last summer, Marilyn purchased her million dollar scratch card ticket without thinking too much about it, while she was on her way home from work. She almost forgot to scratch the ticket, and only did so when her son nagged her to play.

Marilyn Garcia-John now joins Port Chester’s other millionaires - Juan Carlos Gonzalez who got his million in the Mega Millions in March and Martin Ocampo who got lucky with the New York Poker in August.

Although there are several million dollar plus winnings in the state of New York, it is very rare that three winners originate from the same small village. If all this is just a coincidence or a lucky strike we’ll never know, but I bet there will be a new shift in real estate. Port Chester has more than the location, location, location, it has the added advantage of luck, luck, luck!
