The Cyprus government it is seriously looking into giving the first licence for opening Cyprus first land casino into one of the cities of Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca or Paphos. Strong position of getting the first licence into the hands of Larnaca had expressed the mayor of the city Andreas Moyseos as it will help the city to develop further.

The most natural decision and that is what everyone is expecting is for the licence to be given to the most developed city of the island which is Limassol and some rumours saying that the casino could be in the sea 100m from the shore in an artificial island also occupying restaurants , shops even houses.

The purpose of a such decision is due to the fact that the island have a gap in the law system regarding online casinos and literately the place it is full of “internet Café” operating as “Internet Casinos” , in this way the government will be absorbing some millions from illegal gambling that is been held to Cyprus.

This decision also came to cover the big disaster and the island’s blackout from the devastating explosion that happened in summer at the Mari nautical army base that killed 13 people as also completely ruined the main electricity power station next to the base leaving the whole island with many electricity problems and brought into difficult position the island’s economy.
