eCOGRA (eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance) is an organization based in London, with the objectives of setting the remote gambling self-regulation requirements and providing an international framework for best operational and player protection practice requirements, with a special focus on fair and responsible gambling.

After the management buyout of eCOGRA earlier in 2011, there was a decision to restructure and streamline the Board, to have it in line with the Company's current ownership. This means that the Non-Executive Directors Michael Hirst OBE, Bill Galston OBE and Frank Catania will not be on the Board any longer after the 31st December 2011, leaving Chief Executive Officer Andrew Beveridge and Tex Rees to manage the Organization, both having a history in the team since 2003.

CEO, Andrew Beveridge thanked the outgoing Board members for the "enormous contribution in helping to establish eCOGRA as a pre-eminent independent remote gambling standards body and testing agency and steering the Company to its new found status.“I look forward to the next chapter of our growth as we set out to use our exceptional and unrivalled experience in providing services to jurisdictions, whilst maintaining our unique eCOGRA seal assuring player protection on approved sites".

eCOGRA enforces requirements through inspections, reviews and constant monitoring. Accreditation, which is open to all software companies and operators, entitled operators to use the “Safe and Fair” seal, indicating that games and operational systems are fair and monitored to consistent high standards.

eCOGRA is also an approved testing agency in various leading remote gambling jurisdictions. If you want to read more about eCOGRA and the services provided, visit www.ecogra.orgtoday!
