The company, based in Dublin, stated in a Press Release that the licenses were bought for ‘nominal consideration’ from OIGE Limited who is the operator of the brand. InterCasino has been a long-term customer of CryptoLogic’s casino platform. CryptoLogic confirmed that the transfer of the licenses has already been approved by the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority, but there were no further financial terms disclosed.

CryptoLogic, which is the developer and software supplier of more than 300 casino games, has one of the most comprehensive casino suites online. It offers its services to customers who in turn offer the games to non-US players all over the world.

Since last December, CryptoLogic have been involved in takes with Amaya Gaming Group, which might purchase the company for a whopping sum of $34.5 million, a deal which is expected to be finalized by Thursday, 12th January, 2012. Shares in CryptoLogic remained the same in the London Stock Exchange yesterday at 135.00 pence per share, gained more than 64% in the three that coincide with Amaya's expression of interest.
