How to File a Complaint Against an Online Casino
A strong complaint is not loud. It is organised. The more clearly you show dates, amounts, rules and replies, the harder it is for the issue to disappear into support noise.
Main riskSubmitting an emotional complaint without the documents needed to support it.
Reader actionBuild a one-page timeline before opening the formal complaint.

Start with a short timeline
Write the complaint as a sequence: account opened, deposit made, bonus accepted, play occurred, withdrawal requested, documents uploaded, support contacted, decision received. Include dates and amounts.
This keeps the complaint readable. A support team or dispute body should not need to reconstruct the case from scattered screenshots and emotional messages.
Contact the casino first
Most complaint processes require the player to contact the operator before escalating externally. Use the casino complaint route if one exists, not only live chat.
Ask for a case number, the expected response time and the final-response process. If the casino uses an ADR or dispute provider, ask which one applies to your account and country.
What evidence belongs in the complaint
Include transaction IDs, amount, payment method, screenshots of the cashier, document upload receipts, emails, chat logs, bonus terms, game or bet history where relevant and the exact decision you are disputing.
Keep personal data careful. Send only what is relevant through the official complaint route. If a dispute body asks for documents later, follow its instructions.
When to escalate externally
Escalation makes sense when the casino gives a final response you dispute, misses its stated complaint deadline, refuses to explain the decision or provides no usable complaint route.
The correct external route depends on the licence and country. Do not assume that every regulator resolves individual payout disputes. Some provide guidance, some use approved dispute providers, and some offer player support forms.
Worked example
June 1: deposited EUR 100. June 2: accepted bonus. June 4: requested EUR 480 withdrawal. June 5: uploaded ID and payment proof. June 9: withdrawal declined for max-bet breach. Complaint asks for the exact bet, timestamp and rule.
The common mistake is sending a complaint that says "you stole my money" without the timeline, amount or decision being disputed.
What to compare
Should I complain to the regulator first?
Usually you should use the casino complaint route first, then follow the external route if the issue remains unresolved.
What should I ask for?
Ask for the decision reason, rule reference, balance status, complaint case number and escalation route.
Can WTC resolve casino complaints?
No. WTC can explain process and risk signals, but it does not act as a dispute body.
