Casino Bonus Locked My Withdrawal: What It Means
A bonus can make a withdrawal look stuck even when the cashier page looks simple. The issue is usually active wagering, locked funds, a pending bonus state or a term the player did not notice.

Why bonuses interfere with withdrawals
Many bonuses are not separate from the cashier. A deposit bonus may attach wagering to bonus funds, winnings, or sometimes the deposit plus bonus. Until the requirement is met, the system may treat part of the balance as locked.
This is why a player can see money in the account but still be unable to withdraw it. The balance exists, but the withdrawal right depends on terms.
The terms that usually cause the lock
Look for active wagering, bonus-only vs deposit-plus-bonus rules, maximum bet rules, eligible games, restricted games, expiry, maximum cashout, bonus cancellation and pending-withdrawal clauses.
Also check whether requesting a withdrawal cancels the bonus or removes bonus-linked winnings. Some casinos make this clear. Others bury it in terms that players rarely read before depositing.
What to do immediately
Stop playing until you understand the status. More play can create new issues: max bet breaches, restricted-game play, expiry pressure or a loss of funds that were still withdrawable.
Take screenshots of the balance, wagering progress, bonus name, terms page and withdrawal message. Then ask support: what exact term is preventing withdrawal, and what action is required?
When the lock becomes a warning sign
It is a warning sign if the casino cannot explain the lock, changes the required wagering, removes the bonus history, refuses to show terms, or tells you to deposit again to unlock funds.
A good bonus system should make the status understandable. If the player cannot tell what is cash, what is bonus, what is locked and what is withdrawable, the offer is not player-friendly.
Worked example
A player deposits EUR 50 and receives a EUR 50 bonus with 35x deposit plus bonus wagering. The target is EUR 3,500, not EUR 1,750. If the player tries to withdraw after EUR 900 of play, the cashier may block or cancel the withdrawal.
The common mistake is assuming the cash balance is fully withdrawable while an active bonus is still attached.
What to compare
Should I keep playing to unlock the withdrawal?
Only if the wagering target fits your original budget. Do not chase a locked balance.
Can I cancel the bonus?
Sometimes, but cancellation may remove bonus funds or bonus-linked winnings. Read the cancellation term first.
Can a bonus delay KYC?
KYC may still be required before withdrawal even if wagering is complete.
